60 Marks in JENPAS UG 2025 Means Which Rank?

Students who score 60 marks in JENPAS UG 2025 may be placed at an expected rank between 1045 and 1076. Based on the past year's trends and the expected difficulty level of the current year’s exam, any score of 80 marks or above will be considered a good score in the exam. Therefore, students who score 80 marks or an expected rank between 717 and 729 will have higher chances of admission.
A score of 60 marks in the entrance test is considered very low, and therefore, General category students will likely not get admission to government colleges. However, SC and ST category students can get admission to the government colleges with a 1045 to 1076 rank in JENPAS UG 2025. The JENPAS UG 2025 will be conducted on the scheduled date of October 18, in two sessions. The first session will be from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second one will be from 2 PM to 3:30 PM.

Admission Chances with 60 Marks in JENPAS UG 2025

The chances of admission with 60 marks in JENPAS UG 2025 are very slim for the General category students. The admission cutoff for the General category students is usually very high and is in the range of 80 to 90 marks on average. With 60 marks in JENPAS UG 2025, students belonging to this category will not get any government college admission in the state. On the other hand, students who are from the SC and ST have a decent chance of securing admission with 60 marks in the entrance exam. They are likely to get admission into the top government colleges as well as the other two-tier government colleges for paramedical and nursing courses. While the OBC category students still stand a chance to get into government colleges with 60 marks in the entrance test, they may not get admission to the top-tier government colleges.
The chances of admission usually depend on several factors, like the exam difficulty level, previous years’ cutoff ranks, and the overall performance of the students who appear in the exam. If the exam difficulty level is higher this year, even OBC category students with 60 marks in the entrance exam will be eligible to get admission into the top-tier government colleges in West Bengal.
