Often students confuse when it comes to choosing between B.E / B.Tech and B.Architecture but they need to understand that B. Engineering/ B.Techand B. Architecture are completely different from each other and here is a table to show the same.

This is the application of scientific and mathematical principles to practical ends such as the design, manufacture, and operation of efficient and economical structures, machines, processes, and systems.	Architecture is the activity of designing and constructing buildings and other physical structures by a person or a machine.
2.	How gets the degree?	The degree is awarded to those who have undertaken a Bachelor of Science degree program supplemented by either occupational placements (e.g., supervised practical or internships) or practice-based classroom courses.	Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is a professional degree awarded to students after completion of five years of architecture study and research, to be followed by a period of practical training prior to professional examination and registration.
3.	Time duration	4 years	5 years
4.	Approving Authourity	AICTE. UGC are responsible for the approval of the bachelor's degree in b. tech.	Council of architecture (COA)
5.	What does it teach?	B.tech has a greater emphasis on technical engineering aspects, for example, electronics and electrical circuits, than the BSc. However, topics covered in B.Eng can overlap with BSc.	B. arch includes design of the total build environment, from a macro level of how a building integrates with its surroundings and to the micro level of architectural and construction details.
