• Work, Energy, and Power: Work-energy theorem, conservation of mechanical energy, potential energy, kinetic energy, power, conservative and non-conservative forces.
• System of Particles and Rotational Motion:
  • Center of mass of a two-particle system.
  • Moment of inertia and its applications.
  • Angular momentum, torque, and equilibrium of rigid bodies.
• Gravitation: Universal law of gravitation, gravitational potential, escape velocity, orbital velocity, Kepler’s laws.

Heat & Thermodynamics
