As per the JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025, the candidate must have qualified for their 12th from a recognized board. For admission in DTU, NSUT, & IGDTUW, one must have secured a min of 60% in their 12th in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.

JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Delhi, releases the JAC Delhi 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in before the counselling session. The eligibility criteria of JAC Delhi 2025 will be provided in the information brochure released by JAC Delhi. Candidates seeking BTech admission based on JEE Main Scores through JAC Delhi counselling 2025 must fulfil the JAC Delhi eligibility criteria 2025, failing which they will not be able to get a seat as per the JAC Delhi seat allotment 2025.

JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025 comprise age, educational qualification, nativity, domicile, and category. Candidates participating in the JAC Delhi counselling process 2025 must be aware of the JAC Delhi eligibility criteria 2025 before registering for JAC Delhi Counselling 2025. Candidates are provided admission based on their JEE Main 2025 rank.

Minimum Educational Qualification

The candidates must have cleared their senior secondary exam from CBSE or any other recognized board. However, candidates who have qualified their class 12 exam in 2025 and have been placed in the compartment (supplementary) are not eligible for admission in the academic year of 2025.

Minimum Age

JAC has not specified any minimum or maximum age limit required for participation in JAC Delhi counselling 2025.

Institute-wise Eligibility Criteria

For admission into the B. Tech courses offered by Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), a candidate must have secured 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and must have English as a subject of study in their qualifying examination. Candidates should also have a valid JEE Main 2025 Rank (Paper – 1) to be eligible for admission. Candidates must pass each subject individually.

For admission to Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi , a candidate must have secured 70% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects comprising Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics along with 70% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination. Also, candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2025 Rank (Paper – 1) to be eligible for admission.

Region-wise Eligibility

Candidates participating in JAC Delhi counselling 2025 are based on two regions, i.e., candidates residing and applying from the Delhi Region and candidates residing and applying from outside the Delhi Region.

Delhi Region Candidates: Candidates who have qualified their qualifying examination from a recognized school/ college/ institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi fall under this category. 85% of the seats are reserved for such candidates
Outside Delhi Region Candidates: Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from a recognized school/ college/ institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi come under this category. 15% of the seats are reserved for such candidates.

Minimum Marks Criteria for Reserved Category Candidates

IGDTUW, DTU, NSUT and DSEU

OBC-NCL (Other Backward Class): Candidates from the OBC category are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST): Candidates from the SC & ST category are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
Differently-abled person: Candidates belonging to this category are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying marks criteria
Defence: Such candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks criteria

IIIT-Delhi

OBC-NCL (Other Backward Class): Candidates from the OBC category are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST): Candidates from the SC and ST category are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination

Yes Nimesh, your son can definitely get admission in Mechanical Engineering at Lovely Professional University with 71 percentile in JEE Mains and 67.80 percentile in MHCET. LPU does not depend on very high cutoffs like IITs or NITs. Instead, it checks overall eligibility and entrance performance. These percentiles are good enough to qualify for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at LPU. He may also get a scholarship based on JEE percentile or by appearing for LPU NEST to increase the scholarship amount.

I want to apply to CSE but there is no option for university kevel admission

Dear Sonakshi ,If you want to apply for CSE at Lovely Professional University and cannot find the “university-level admission” option, you don’t need to worry. LPU mainly takes admissions through LPU NEST or CUET, and the portal shows options according to the admission cycle. Sometimes the CSE program appears under B.Tech programs instead of a separate category. You can register on the LPU admission portal, choose B.Tech, and the CSE option will appear during program selection.
