OUAT MVSc Admission 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Application, Selection Process

The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology has a limited number of seats open for admission into M.V.Sc. programs for the 2024-25 academic session through spot counseling and the admission process. The students from Odisha who have received a rank for OUAT PG Admission-2024-25 (Agriculture and Allied subjects) are eligible to participate. The OUAT MVSc 2025 registration and filling out the application form will begin on September 15, 2025, to October 3, 2025. The entrance exam will be conducted on November 12, 2025.

Admissions to the MVSc course at OUAT will be based on the student’s performance in the qualifying exam. Students who would like to appear for the entrance exam must fill out the application form. The University administers an entrance exam for admission to the programme. OUAT MVSc Application Process 2025

Step1: Fill in the Application Form

• Students need to first visit the OUAT official website i.e ouat.nic.in then go to the admission section and click on “Student login for online application for MVSc Admission 2025

• Students will have to provide their e-mail ID, mobile number, OTP sent to the mobile number & e-mail, and Captcha code for registration

• After registration, students need to log in again with User id & Password

• After login, a window showing “Apply”, clicking on “Post Graduate Programme 2025, select MVSc,  the application form will appear and the student will fill up the application

Step 2: Upload Photograph and Signature

After filling up the application form, students must upload their passport-sized photograph and scanned signature.

Step 3: Pay the application fee

After filling out the application form, students will be required to pay the application fee. The application fee for MVSc is INR 1400/- which can be paid online. Receipt for the same will be automatically generated on the screen.

Step 4: Take the Application printout

After paying the application fee, students need to submit the application form and must take a printout for future reference.

Students are advised to bring the following documents with them to the admissions office:

• Application Form-B printout and rank card
• Mark sheets & certificates (10th, +2 Science/Equivalent, Bachelor's, and Master's for Ph.D.).
• Domicile/Residential Certificate
• Extracurricular activity documents
• College Leaving, Conduct, and Migration Certificates
• Medical Certificate
• Self-declaration for study discontinuation
• Aadhaar Card and five passport-size color photos.
• Admission letter (if issued from previous counseling)
• Permission letter/NOC from the immediate authority

The selection of the student to OUAT MVSc course will be done on the basis of merit. A merit list of the students shall be drawn up on the basis of the total score (Qualifying Exam + Extra weightage, if any).

OUAT Reservation Policy 2025

For UG courses, OUAT's reservation policy is as follows:

• SC – 15%
• ST – 7.5%
