AILET First Selection List 2026: What Next?
Selection in the first list also triggers immediate action. You must pay the Provisional Admission Confirmation Fee of Rs 50,000 between January 8 (6 PM) and January 14 (11 AM). This amount, along with the counselling registration fee you have already paid, will be adjusted against your final tuition fee. Missing this deadline will automatically cancel your provisional seat; there are no extensions or exceptions.
While NLU Delhi does not officially publish category-wise cutoffs, the first selection list reflects the highest closing ranks, as the total number of seats is limited to 120, including those for General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, and Foreign National categories. If you are close to the borderline and don’t make it this time, remember that second and third lists are scheduled for January 21 and February 4, 2026, respectively.
