CBSE launched free tele-counselling & digital resources on Jan 6, 2026, for Class 10/12 students. Aimed at stress relief and emotional balance, services run until June 1, 2026 (Mon-Fri, 9:30 AM-5:30 PM). It offers 24/7 toll-free IVRS (1800-11-8004), expert counsellors, and digital tools on cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Launches Tele-Counselling and Digital Resources for Board Students: The Central Board of Secondary Education has launched free counselling support for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board exams from today, on January 6, 2026. As per the schedule, the first phase CBSE Tele Counselling and Digital Resources program will end on June 1, 2026. The primary aim of the free counselling program is to help the students so that they can deal with the unnecessary stress or emotional pressure related to the exam. The free psycho-social counselling can boost the confidence level of the candidates by addressing their emotional balance. Note that the CBSE tele-counselling services will be available from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM, from Monday to Friday.

CBSE Launches Tele-Counselling and Digital Resources

  • 24X7 Toll Free IVRS (1800-11-8004): The candidates can dial a toll-free 1800118004 to access round-clock support both in Hindi and English via the Interactive Voice Response System, at 24/7. The candidates will get guidance on stress-free preparation, stress management, and frequently asked questions through the service
  • Tele-Counselling Services: Both the candidates and parents can communicate with a panel of 73 trained professionals. Among them, 61 counsellors are based in India; whereas the rest 12 counsellors are situated in Nepal, Oman, Qatar and the UAE, which leads to getting support from a wide and diversified support on a voluntary basis
  • Digital Resources: Apart from the tele-counselling, the candidates can choose the digital resources for dealing with their stress management, effective study strategies and emotional well-being. The same will be available on the CBSE official website- cbse.gov.in. The resources are framed in such a way that they can be easily accessed by the candidates
