UGC NET Answer Key Dec 2025 OUT: The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET answer key for December 2025 today, January 14, 2026. Along with the UGC NET provisional answer key, the authority has also published the UGC NET response sheet. Using both the response sheet and the GC NET answer key, the candidates can assess their performance level in the exam.

To download the UGC NET Provisional answer key PDF, the candidates should enter their login credentials, such as the application number, date of birth/ password, and security pin. After checking the answers, if the candidates feel that the same is not corrected, then they can raise an objection against it on or before January 17, 2026. Note that to submit grievances, the candidates should pay Rs 200 for each objection. Also, the candidates should upload the supporting documents/ justification to submit the grievances; otherwise, the authority will not consider the objection. Candidates should not miss the last date, since beyond the last date, they will not be allowed to raise objections under any circumstances.

To calculate the score using both the UGC NET answer key and response sheet, the candidates should have a fair knowledge of the marking scheme. Candidates will get 2 marks for every correctly marked answers and no mark will be deducted for the incorrectly marked answers or for the unanswered questions. Therefore, total obtainable marks= (Number of correctly marked answers X 2).

For raising objections, the candidates should choose the option ID and question ID correctly that they want to raise, and upload the backup file to support the objection. Lastly, the candidates should save the claim and pay the fees in online mode to complete the process.
