Usually, the authority takes 20 to 30 days to release the results from the last date of the exam. Candidates who will get 40% in both Paper 1 and 2 exams (35% for the SC/ ST/ OBC), will qualify for the UGC NET December 2025 exam. Post that, the authority will issue the UGC NET certificate for Assistant Professor (Lectureship) and Junior Research Fellowship award letter for the candidates who will be qualified for the exam. Note that the Lecturership certificate and JRF award letter will be valid for a lifetime and three years, respectively.
