The last date to apply for GATE 2026 for M.Tech and research program admissions has been extended to October 13, 2025, with the applicable late fee. The examination will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, and will be conducted in two sessions daily.
The Candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Class XII) of Board of Higher Secondary Examination. Govt. of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects or any other examinations accepted as equivalent there to by the Cochin University of Science and Technology(CUSAT).
First class(60% marks) or Percentage equivalent of GPA in BE/B.Tech in any discipline or AMIETE/AMIE or in MSc Physics with Electronics as special Subject or in MSc Mathematics .
For SC/ST candidates , a pass in the qualifying degree examination is sufficcient.
