IIT Mandi Admission 2025 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

IIT Mandi admission 2024 is JEE Advanced is used to determine eligibility for B.Tech admission at IIT Mandi; students must pass JEE Main in order to be considered. The results of JEE Main Session 1 will be announced on February 12, 2024, and registration for JEE Main Session 2 is currently open. Applicants must submit their applications by March 2, 2024, at the latest. The online JEE Advanced application process must be finished between April 21, 2024, and April 30, 2024 at jeeadv.ac.in. The test is scheduled for May 26, 2024. GATE is used for admission to the M.Tech programme at IIT Mandi. The test is scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

The results of national entrance tests including JEE Main, IIT JAM, GATE, and the corresponding counselling rounds determine admission to IIT Mandi. To apply for admission to IIT Mandi, candidates must do so via the official website of the entrance test conducting body, such as the National Testing Agency (NTA) for JEE Main. Via nine schools, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi provides more than thirty courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels, including BTech, MTech, MSc, MA, and so on. 

To be able to pursue M.Tech at IIT Mandi, the candidates must have completed BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc degree in the relevant discipline or completed their BE/ B.Tech degree through distance mode or AMIE passed candidates can also apply. However, the minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) is mandatory in the qualifying examination.

The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of GATE Score followed by an Interview.

• IIT Mandi will accept the JAM 2023 scores for admission to its M.Sc programme in Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, and, Physics. 
• The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) in 2023. 
• The exam will be conducted in 7 subjects including Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, and, Physics. 
• The exam will be held in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. 
• While the JAM 2023 syllabus would vary as per the subject opted for, the question type would be objective. • The JAM 2023 exam would provide admission to more than 3000 seats in PG courses of various IITs including IIT Mandi. 
• The JAM 2023 admit card will be issued on January 10, 2023. The JAM 2023 exam will be held on February 12, 2023. The JAM 2023 results will be declared on March 22, 2023. The subsequent online applications for IIT Mandi course admissions based on IIT JAM will be held from April 11, 2023, to April 25, 2023.

For IIT B.Tech, candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination or have secured the top 20 positions in the respective boards.

The selection of the candidates in the B.Tech course at IIT Mandi is done on the basis of JEE Advanced scores.

To be eligible for IIT Mandi M.Sc programme, candidates must have completed their B.Sc in the relevant discipline with 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognised university.

IIT Mandi Integrated M.Sc + PhD Eligibility Criteria 2023

For IIT Mandi integrated M.Sc+Ph.D, candidates must have completed B.Sc / BA with a major in Mathematics /Applied Science with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognized university.
