The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. IIT Roorkee GATE Cutoff 2026: IIT Roorkee MTech cutoff 2026 will be prepared and released after the COAP counselling process on the IIT Roorkee website at iitr.ac.in. The expected IIT Roorkee GATE cutoff 2026 is 760-780 for the General category, 730-750 for OBC, 450-550 for SC, and 450-550 for ST categories. To get admission to IIT Roorkee, you must achieve equal to or higher than the IIT Roorkee MTech cutoff 2026. The cutoff for GATE IIT Roorkee 2026 will be determined by taking into account all aspects such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students who took the exam, previous year cutoff patterns, the student's gender, and the category of students. Indian Institute of Roorkee and IIT Delhi shared an update on changes in the exam centre for IIT JAM and GATE 2025. According to the latest notification, candidates who have chosen Prayagraj center will now take Lucknow as their exam centre. GATE 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from February 1 to February 16, 2025. IIT Delhi announced amendments in IIT JAM exam centre on their official website as IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled for February 2, 2025. 

IIT Placements 2025-26: IIT Placements for the year 2025-2026 will be conducted in two phases for all the IITs. Usually, the first phase began around December and the second phase from February to May. IIT Bombay reported an average package of approximately INR 36.9 LPA, with sectors like technology, finance, and consulting dominating recruitment. KLEEE 2026 Phase 1 start date: As per the schedule, the KL University will conduct the KLEEE 2026 Phase 1 exam from November 14 to 18, 2025. Candidates who will appear for the KLEEE Phase 1 exam should practice the model question paper during their last-minute preparation. So that the candidates will be well aware of the question type, their marking scheme, and other details regarding the exam. As per the paper pattern, the candidates will get 25 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. To complete the KLEEE exam, the candidates will get 3 hours of time. IIT Gandhinagar launches Special PGD Programmes: The  Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, launches three new 6-month PGD programs in Generative AI-enabled technologies.
