IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation launched a new programme ‘Howzzat: Cricstats? Exploring the world of cricket analytics’ in collaboration with GITAA. GITAA is an IIT Madras incubated company. It provides training in AI, machine learning and data science. The course duration is eight months and interested candidates can apply for the same at digitalskills.pravartak.org.in. The programme is funded under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems by the central government through the Department of Science and Technology.
On August 14, 2023, IIT Madras launched a new certificate course on ‘Operations and Supply Chain Analytics for Strategic Decision Making’. The new IIT Madras course is offered through the ‘Centre for Outreach and Digital Education.’ The programme will help managers make critical decisions based on available information and data. There are a total of three modules. The application process for the new programme is currently ongoing. The last date to apply for the same is September 20, 2023.
