Istituto Marangoni Mumbai and Arxy Future Lab have collaborated to launch an innovative virtual fashion exhibition showcasing the final-year collections of students. Their newly-launched virtual fashion exhibition, which debuted on January 03, 2025, showcases the final-year collections of students from the Mumbai campus in a way that’s both immersive and practical. This cutting-edge platform transcends traditional showcases by creating an immersive digital experience.  

The exhibition meticulously replicates the physical installations from a live show, featuring detailed 3D renderings of garments and interactive elements that allow viewers to explore the collections in depth. This technology goes beyond mere presentation; it facilitates valuable connections between students, faculty, and industry professionals through private viewing sessions and networking opportunities.  

This collaboration demonstrates the power of technology to enhance, not replace, the essence of fashion. By democratizing access and amplifying creative expression, it paves the way for a new era of fashion education and industry engagement.

The reputed Italian Fashion and Designing Academy in Mumbai, Istituto Marangoni, has announced an Undergraduate Progression Course in Product Design. The program will provide an all-inclusive learning methodology enabling students to apply research methods for creating product design proposals. The program focuses on enhancing the creative side of the aspirants by imparting knowledge about various aspects of Product Design under the mentorship of highly experienced industry experts.

The program will cover the fundamentals of research theories, CAD, product designing details, design processes, industrial projects, creative processes, etc.

Mevin Murden is the New Director of Education at the Istituto Marangoni School of Fashion & Design, Mumbai. 

The Istituto Marangoni School of Fashion & Design, Mumbai has recently announced its new Director of Education, Mevin Murden. He will be solely responsible for strategic implementation in the areas of fashion styling, designing, and business programs. Not only in the areas of fashion and technology, but he will also be majorly contributing in the areas such as innovation and research, enriching aspirants with higher education, and imparting great learning sessions. Mevin Murden on the day of his appointment embraced the culture and heritage of India and also appreciated our efforts in the field of Fashion and Designing.

Mevin Murden has experience working with global giants such as Europe, Australia, Dubai, and many more in the field of Arts, Cosmetics, Fashion, Hospitality, and Fragrances. He has an interest in Craft and Designing and is passionate about Neuromarketing, Brand Management, and Neo-craftsmanship. Mevin has studied in various universities such as Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, and Harvard University Extension School (United States of America) to explore the field of Arts and Design.
