Jagran Lakecity University (JLU), Bhopal, has been conferred with the ‘Diamond’ rating by QS I-GAUGE. QS I-Gauge is an independent, and international rating system for universities and colleges in the country. JLU was rated amongst the 25 universities in India and became the 1st and the only university in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to bag the Diamond rating.
The University has been awarded a ‘Platinum’ rating in Teaching & Learning, Employability, and Entrepreneurship and a ‘Diamond’ rating in the quality of faculty and infrastructural facilities. The customized ‘Learning Management System’ (LMS) of the university was also appreciated by the auditors.
Shri Hari Mohan Gupta, Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University while receiving the award said that he is delighted on the behalf of the entire university to QS I-GAUGE for recognising their efforts and placing them in the Top 25 universities in the country.
JLU faculty member has been conferred with Young Scientist Award at the 36th M.P. Young Scientist Congress organised by the M.P. Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The conference was hosted virtually by Vikram University, Ujjain (M.P.). The conference took place from 23rd to 26th March 2021 and 160 researchers participated in the same from 15 different fields.
During the conference, he presented his research work in the field of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology and won a cash prize of INR 20,000/-. He also received an opportunity of fellowship for training in any National Institution under Council’s Scheme.
The inaugural ceremony of the 36th M.P. Young Scientist Congress was graced by Hon’ble Minister, Science and Technology, M.P Govt., Shri Omprakash Sakhlecha, Hon’ble Minister Higher Education, M.P. Govt. Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Vikram University, Ujjain Prof. (Dr.) Akhilesh Kumar Pandey and Director-General MPCOST Dr. Anil Kothari.
