Dear student,

No, you can not get admission to NMIT without the NUCAT exam. If you wish to take admission to NMIT, Bangalore in the Civil Engineering stream, you are required to participate in the nationwide NUCAT 2025 examination. The institute does not offer admissions based on the KCET or COMEDK UGET 2025 exam. If you are a 12th-grade student, you are eligible for the NUCAT exam; however, you are required to be a minimum of 17 years of age for admission.

Dear Student,

For Category 2A in leading Bangalore colleges, the expected KCET 2025 cutoff for ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) and CSE (Computer Science Engineering) branches will vary based on the college. Expect cutoffs to be higher for top colleges and lower for those in the mid-tier. For ECE, a rank between 15,800 to 16,100 might be a reasonable expectation for colleges like BNMIT. We hope that we have answered your question successfully. Stay tuned to College Dekho for the latest updates on counselling, admission, education news and more. All the best for a great future ahead!
