Yes, LLB courses are offered in a regular mode at Ranchi University under the UG degree of BA LLB, which is an integrated course providing knowledge of both arts as well as law subjects simultaneously. The course is offered for a duration of five years, wherein the student has to complete both core and elective subjects along with practicals and internships. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the course is completion of 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks in any stream from a recognised board of school education. If you’re planning to pursue law from Ranchi University, then you have to study in a regular mode. However, there are many colleges situated in Jharkhand that do offer LLB course in a distance mode. These include Jharkhand State Open University Ranchi, Chotanagpur Law College Ranchi, Vinoba Bhave University Jharkhand etc. Students must also note that distance LLB course is not valid according to BCI regulations in order to practice law in India.
