Sharda University Celebrates International Yoga Day

Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Dean Student welfare jointly organised an event on the occassion of International Yoga Day at the campus. The event featured a series of yoga sessions suitable for all levels, led by certified yoga instructors. With a variety of yoga styles to choose from, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin, there was something for everyone. All participants got a holistic experience from the sessions, which emphasised physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation.

The celebration began with a welcome address by YK Gupta, Pro Chancellor, Sharda University, who emphasised the importance of yoga in fostering physical and mental health. Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Dean Research; Dr. Ajit Kumar, Director PR; Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Kapil Dave, and many others were also present at the event.

The conference emphasised the importance of environmental, social responsibility, and ethical business practices in the field. The event was attended by notable figures such as Dr. Ranjith Bhandara, S.K. Mishra, and YK Gupta, among others.

Sharda University Launches Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra to Promote Indian Culture Globally

Sharda University launched the Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra on April 12, 2024, aiming to create a global platform for Indian knowledge and address key national issues. The centre, inaugurated by notable figures including retired IAS Deepak Singhal and Padma Bhushan Prof. Kapil Kapoor, will promote and protect Indian culture. Prof. Kapoor emphasised the importance of teaching in one's own language and preserving heritage. Sharda University's Pro Chancellor, YK Gupta, expressed pride in the initiative, highlighting the centre's role in educating students about Indian culture. IAS Deepak Singhal stressed the need for action over speeches for the centre's success. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sibaram Khara, along with other dignitaries, were present at the event. The centre is seen as a significant step towards cultural preservation and education.

Sharda University recently hosted a two-day cultural fest, "Sangam Ullas", attracting participants from over 95 countries. The event showcased a variety of competitions, including dance, music, fashion, drama, sports, and photography. The highlight was a performance by MC SQUARE and DJ Suitup. The festival, which was attended by faculty members and students of Sharda University, featured over 20 events, ranging from debates to fashion shows, comedy performances to rap wars. Chancellor PK Gupta stated that the event fostered a sense of inclusivity and appreciation for cultural diversity. The fest also featured a "March" by international students, representing their national heritage.

Uttar Pradesh MBA Admission 2025 is primarily conducted based on the scores obtained in any MBA entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, MAT, and CUET PG, etc. among others. If seats are available after that, UPCET 2025 will be considered for Master of Business Administration (MBA) admissions in the state. UPCET 2025 is the state-level entrance exam for admission to MBA colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It is accepted by AKTU, MMMUT, and their affiliated colleges. The UP Entrance exam for MBA admissions primarily refers to the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), which is now known as UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test). If you qualify for the written exam, you will be called for the counselling process, that will include choice filling and selecting specialisation. The GD and PI rounds rounds will be conducted after that. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of your rank in the entrance exam. However, MBA admission in some private MBA colleges in Uttar Pradesh is provided entirely on the basis of merit and through UPTAC centralised counselling.
