December 31, 2025 4:40 PM

What is the Percentile for 100-150 Marks in JEE Main 2026?

100-150 marks in JEE Main 2026 usually translates to a high percentile, often in the range of 95-99. NTA uses the normaization process to release JEE Main percentile rather than raw scores to ensure fairness across its multiple shifts. To make it clearer, if you have secured 97 percentile in JEE Main, it means you scored better than 97% of the other candidates who took the exam in your session. This puts you in a good position and increases your chances of getting into the participating NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, and qualifying for JEE Advanced 2026 exam.

The mechanical branch at the SLIET Sangrur (Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology) generally gets positive feedback regarding the placements. The average package is reported between 5-7 LPA for mechanical engineering graduates. Around 70-85% of the mechanical engineering students are placed from the SLIET Sangrur campus annually, as per some reviews. While the highest package can vary, it was reported to be around 12 LPA for mechanical students. The faculty at the college is also considered to be decent.
