The last date to apply for GATE 2026 for M.Tech and research program admissions has been extended to October 13, 2025, with the applicable late fee. The examination will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, and will be conducted in two sessions daily.
The candidate should have passed 10+2 (OR)Equivalent with minimum 50% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the JNTU Hyderabad as equivalent thereto.

The candidate should have passed B.E / B.Tech / AMIE in ECE / EEE / CSE / Electronics & Computers Engg. / ETE / IT / CSIT / Electronics & Control Engg. / Instrumentation Engg. / Instrumentation Technology / EIE / Electronics Engg.,/Bio-Medical Engg./AMIETE and Electronics and Telematics Engg. (OR) equivalent / Electronics.
