Velammal Institute of Technology B.Tech : Fees, Courses, Eligibility, Placement & Admission 2026

Overall: I opted for this course because I like to be a mechanical professional and to get updated myself to the new technology machines. Symposiums, project exposure and conference are some of the events conducted for students here

Placement: The highest package is 10 LPA, average will be 4-5 LPA, the lowest will be 3LPA. Top companies are TCS, Accenture, Zoho, CTS, Sify Technologies, wipro Roles offered are Developed, Software testing, Internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Our campus is filled with Wi-Fi connections, even in the hostels. In the hostel, per room, 4 members were allocated, and separate cupboards were arranged. There is an library well eqipped.

Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Almost all the faculties were doctorates. Difficulty facing the semester is not tough. We will be having three internals and one model exam.

Hostel: There are saprate hostels for boys and girls. 4 students in one room are arranged The hostel quality is average for students The cleanliness is good The meal quality is average Menu are average.

Overall: I completed by B.Tech in Information Technology from VIT Chennai and I am quite content with my experience here. Even though the institute does not offer any masters course, the institute has great popularity among the society. My time here has been good and I would definitely suggest this institute to others to pursue education. There are all kinds of facilities available here for the students.

Placement: The placement cell of VIT Chennai carries out various activities for the training of the final year degree students such as pre-placement training, seminars, webinars, mock interviews and more. The highest salary package offered to the candidates in the year 2022 was Rs 6.75 Lakhs per annum. The lowest salary package offered was Rs 1.8 Lakhs per annum to the candidates. A total of 226 students received job opportunities that year, including me. Some popular recruiters who participate in the placement drive of VIT Chennai are Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Nokia Networks, Ramco Systems and more.

Infrastructure: The library of the Velammal Institute of Technology has many physical as well as online resources such as magazines, journals, research papers, books and more. The sports complex has many facilities as well such as basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, cricket ground and more. The canteen is pretty clean, maintains hygiene standards and serves tasty dishes to the students as well as staff. Transportation facilities are also available for the students & staff members from the neighboring regions.

Faculty: The faculty members at Velammal Institute of Technology are all educated, experienced and qualified. Some faculty members were teaching at much more bigger establishment before. They taught us everything that was there in the curriculum and much more. The professors make us all future ready. They not only prepare us for the real world but also help us to be successful in the world.

Overall: Experience of mine in this college was good.I've got some good friends some well.Qualified teachers who motivated us and helped us in each and every step

Placement: If I talk about placement facility given by this institute.I can say that it is very average.Not all the student got placed , only thirty to forty percent of the student got placed every year , which is very bad

Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastruc7ture of our institute I can say that buildings were creatively made.It was restricted for outsiders to enter into the institute and yes playing area and libraries and cultural activities area over there

Faculty: Best part of this institute is that faculties who are working here are really well qualified.Well knowledgeable and headstudents and motivate students eating each and every step of their college life

Hostel: Best part of hostel is that Clealiness This is maintained by staff.Staff is really good food.Served here was of nice quality.It was restricted to outsiders to enter into the hostel area
