CIPET JEE 2026 counselling process will tentatively begin from July 2026 in the online mode. Candidates who qualify the CIPET JEE 2026 exam will be eligible to take part in the counselling of CIPET JEE 2026. Through this counselling process, eligible candidates are allotted seats in various Diploma, Post Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs offered at CIPET institutes across India. The counselling consists of important steps like registration, choice filling, seat allotment, confirmation of allotment seat and physical reporting.
Candidates who qualify the CIPET JEE exam must first register for counselling using their application number and login credentials. During the registration process, candidates need to provide personal details, academic information, and contact details. Successful registration is mandatory to be considered for seat allotment. After registration, candidates are allowed to select and prioritize their preferred courses and CIPET institutes. Once the choices are reviewed, candidates must lock them within the given deadline. On the basis of the choices filled the authorities release the seat allotment results. Candidates who are allotted a seat must accept the seat within the specified time period.and pay the admission fee. Failure to accept the seat within the deadline leads to cancellation of the allotment.

Step 1 - Registering for CIPET JEE counselling
Click in the link provided here - https://eadmission.cipet.gov.in to go to the official website of CIPET
Register yourself for the CIPET JEE counselling process with your basic personal details
After successfully registering for CIPET JEE counselling, click on the CIPET JEE seat allotment link which is the second part of the process
Step 2 - Filling up of Choices and Locking of Choices
Choose your preferred colleges and the course/s you wish to join
After entering your college and course choices, click on the “Submit” button
No editing or modification is allowed in the choices provided after clicking on the “Submit” tab
Step 3 - Result of Seat Allotment
Go to the official website of CIPET on the date of seat allotment result declaration
Check if any seat has been allotted against your name and candidate ID
Go to your personal email id to see if you have received any seat allotment letters. If yes, download the same
Seat allocation is done based on marks obtained by the candidates and choices filled by them
Step 4 - Report to the College Allocated
Once you have been allocated a seat in for say institute “A”, you have to visit institute “A” along with your important documents and certificates for the final admission process
Deposit the admission fee at the counselling cum admission counter and confirm your availability for the seat allocated to you
Collect the admission fee submission slip for future reference

If a qualified candidate does not register or participate in CIPET JEE counselling within the specified time, they forfeit their chance of admission through that counselling cycle. No seat is reserved automatically for absent candidates.
Yes, candidates are generally allowed to select multiple institutes and courses in order of preference during the counselling process. Filling a wider range of preferences increases the chances of seat allotment, especially in later rounds.
Seat allotment is primarily based on the candidate’s CIPET JEE rank, course preferences, institute choices, and availability of seats. Reservation norms, if applicable, are also considered during allotment. Higher-ranked candidates are given priority during the counselling rounds.
