To obtain the ICSE pass certificate, candidates must score at least 35% marks in five out of six subjects. In addition, students must achieve an overall aggregate of 33% to be declared pass. The evaluation of the ICSE Class 10 exam 2026 is based on both internal and external assessments. The internal assessment carries 25% weightage and is conducted by the respective schools, while the external assessment carries 75% weightage and is conducted by the ICSE Board. The CISCE Board follows the ICSE Class 10 grading system 2026, which ranges from A1 to E. Students must obtain a minimum E grade or above in each subject. The Council has set the ICSE class 10 passing marks 2026 based on the subject-wise assessment and overall aggregate. Students are advised to go through the passing criteria mentioned by the ICSE authorities given below to get information about the minimum passing marks:- Students will have to appear for 6 subjects in the ICSE exam.
- Students should pass 5 out of 6 subjects with a minimum of 35 marks in all the subjects.
