I want to know about lateral entry, I have completed diploma in ECE.

Yes, you are eligible for lateral entry admission after completing a Diploma in B Tech ECE, provided you meet the minimum marks requirement. You must have passed a 2-year or 3-year diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved category candidates).

Admission is granted based on the entrance test score and merit, subject to seat availability. If lateral entry seats are filled, you may also be considered for First Year admission based on merit. Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU), Pune, also accepts SAT 2026 exam scores for UG admissions, which can be used while applying online.
