Tamil Nadu 10th, 12th Board 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu released the TN 10th, 12th timetable 2026 on November 4, 2025 . The TN Class 10 board exams will be conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026, while the Class 12 exams will take place between March 2 and March 26, 2026. The TN Board practical exams will be held from the mid-February to the last week of February 2026 tentatively. Students can access the Tamil Nadu Class 10th, 12th timetable 2026 on the official website - dge.tn.gov.in/. Texams will be from 10 am to 1.15 pm. You will be given 10 minutes of reading time from 10 am to 10.10 am, which will be followed by a five-minute verification period from 10.10 am to 10.15 am. You can start writing from 10.15 am and continue until 1.15 pm. The board will release TN 10th, 12th hall ticket 2026 in March 2026. TN 10th, 12th result 2026 will be released in May 2026.

The result link will be available on the official website of the results portal at tnresults.nic.in. There will be other facilities as well such as SMS services and Digilocker. The first matriculation exam was introduced by the board in 1978 while the higher secondary examination was introduced in 1980. To appear for the board exams conducted by Tamil Nadu’s DGE, students are required to register with the board authorities via their school. School authorities and teachers will guide the students in completing their registration with offline forms. Tamil Nadu 10th, 12th Board 2026: Admit Card

The Tamil Nadu Board admit card 2026 is released 15 days before the commencement of the board exams. School authorities have a separate login portal on the official website of DGE. The school must download, print, and share the admit cards with the students. Students will be shared admit cards in the first week of March 2026. Admit card is a mandatory document that serves as an entry pass to enter the examination hall. Students must carry their admit cards to be allowed to enter the exam halls. Students are also suggested to carry their school ID and a photo ID proof to verify their identity. Any spelling mistake on the admit card must be informed to the school as early as possible. The admit cards will carry the student's name, date of birth, registration number, roll number, date of exam, details of exam center, exam timings, and others. The students are also suggested to keep the admit cards safe.

Tamil Nadu 10th, 12th Board 2026: Result

Tamil Nadu Board Result 2026 will be released in May 2026. The students can check their results from the official website of DGE. Students only need to keep their admit card details handy and enter the required information on the results portal. The minimum qualifying score required for the Tamil Nadu Board is 35 marks, below which the students will be declared fail. Students will also be allowed to apply for re-evaluating their subject-wise answer sheet by paying the fees and submitting the re-evaluation request online.

Only the registration number, date of birth, and captcha code are required to access the results. Students and parents can also sign up for the SMS facility and get notified of the results. The original mark sheets will be shared through their schools within a few days. The result card will display the candidate’s name, subjects appeared, marks obtained, full marks, grade, and passing status. TN HSC SSLC Compartment exams are designed by the Tamil Nadu board to help students who have failed in any number of subjects to take the exam again and save a year.

• The Tamil Nadu SSLC and HSC Compartment Exams 2026 will take place in June 2026.
• Regular students can access the application forms from their schools whereas private candidates will get them from their respective government examination centers.
• The TN 12th board supplementary fee is INR 235 for each subject and for the 10th board, it is INR 175.
