In total, the score should be at least 30 marks. On scoring less marks, students will not get the pass status. Out of 70 marks, students should score at least 21 marks and out of 80 marks, they should get a minimum of 24 marks in order to get the pass status. In practical exams, students should score at least 06 marks out of 20 marks and 09 marks out of 30 marks. West Bengal HS Supplementary Exams 2026

West Bengal board provides students a chance to improve the score through the West Bengal HS Supplementary Exams in June or July. In case, students fail to achieve the minimum passing marks in one or two subjects, they will be allowed to register themselves for the supplementary exams and appear for the particular subjects. The board will announce the exam dates online and the supplementary admit card will also be provided in advance. The students will be able to check the West Bengal HS Supplementary exam date sheet on the official website. To appear for the supplementary exams, students will have to apply online and pay the fee for the subjects they are going to appear in supplementary exams.

What Happens if a Student Fails in West Bengal HS Exams 2026?

On failing in one or two subjects in the West Bengal board HS exams, the board will provide a chance to appear for the supplementary exams in June or July 2026. The students will have to register themselves by filling up the supplementary exam forms online. They will have to provide details of the subjects they are going to appear for. In addition, they will have to pay the supplementary fee for each subject online. The board will release the supplementary exam dates and students will have to appear for their subjects accordingly. In a few days, the supplementary result will also be released online. If students are again unable to score the passing marks, they will have to appear for all subjects in the next year.

Students are required to score WB HS Passing Marks for Theory and practicals 2026 to pass the exams. The passing criteria for the students will be mentioned in their marksheet, according to which the original documents will be distributed among the students, and they will be declared pass.
